ALGIERS, Feb. 17 (Xinhua) -- Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Thursday appointed two new ministers in the cabinet led by Prime Minister Aymene Benabderrahmane, said the Presidency.

Abderrahmane Raouya is the new minister of finance in replacement of the current Prime Minister Benabderrahmane, who had been in charge of this portfolio since June 2020, according to a statement from the Presidency.

The other appointment is Soraya Mouloudji, the new minister of culture and arts, replacing Wafaa Chaalal.
