On February 5, 2026, Wang Youli, Counselor of the Embassy of China in Jamaica, attended the handover ceremony for the second consignment of disaster relief supplies at the Kingston Freeport Terminal by the Government of the People’s Republic of China to the Government of Jamaica. Ambassador Esmond Reid, Under-Secretary for Trade in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade in Jamaica, Mr. Arvin Gayle, the Director General of the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management attended the ceremony.
