On February 9, 2026, His Excellency Wang Jinfeng, Chinese Ambassador to Jamaica, attended the award ceremony of the 2026 Chinese Ambassador’s Scholarship at Caribbean Maritime University and delivered a speech. Professor Andrew Spencer, University President, Vice Presidents, deans, professors, recipient students attended the ceremony. The CMU Creative Arts Department performed a vibrant cultural piece.
