On May 21, 2026, His Excellency Wang Jinfeng, Chinese Ambassador to Jamaica, attended the Jamaican final of the 25th Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students and made a speech, at the Confucius Institute of University of West Indies, Mona Campus. Representatives of the Ministry of Education, Skills, Youth and Information, the Chinese community, and the UWI Mona attended the successful event.
