On 3 July, the Chinese Embassy in Barbados held a symposium celebrating the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Around 50 attendees participated in the event, including representatives from Barbadian political party, the Association for Barbados-China Friendship, the Chinese Association of Barbados, universities, media outlets.

Ambassador Zheng Bingkai reviewed the 105-year journey of the Communist Party of China in leading the Chinese people toward national prosperity and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. He elaborated on Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building, explained the concept of Chinese modernization, and highlighted China's achievements in economic and social development. He called on China and Barbados to continue strengthening exchanges on governance, expand practical cooperation across various fields, and take bilateral relations to new heights.
The participants spoke highly of the Communist Party of China's 105 years of relentless endeavor and its leadership in achieving remarkable economic and social development, which has attracted worldwide attention. They expressed Barbados' high regard for its profound friendship and fruitful cooperation with China, and reaffirmed their commitment to further expanding bilateral cooperation in such areas as politics, trade and investment, and people-to-people exchanges, so as to bring greater benefits to the peoples of both countries.
